FLORENCE- Gregory C. Seeley, 56 of Florence died at his home on March 2, 2010.

Greg was born on March 25, 1953 in Sidney, Nebraska to Thomas and Jean Elizabeth (Smith) Seeley.

He was raised in Billings and attended college at Bozeman. He gravitated to the Missoula area and fell in love with the Florence area in the North Bitterroot Valley.  He soon found a small ranch on Hoblitt Lane in Florence to call home.  He was passionate about horses, cutting, packing and mountain rides.  Greg was a millwright and member of the Paper Maintenance Crew at the Frenchtown Mill.

Greg leaves behind his beloved sons, Lucas (Luke) age 14 and Jesse age 10, who are both excellent students at Florence Carlton School.  The boys will miss their father in life, love and sports. Greg’s support and involvement in their activities, parent help and coaching, rooting for the boys and their teams will be forever missed.

Greg Seeley is survived by his children, Luke and Jesse, his mother Jean Seeley; Uncle Paul and Aunt Jan O’Donnell; Cousins, Sondra Kenealy and Brian O’Donnell, along with Sondra’s family, and former wife of 14 years, and Luke's and Jesse's mother, Kim A. Wilson-Seeley. Greg will be sadly missed.

A gathering to remember Greg and celebrate his life was held on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Greg’s home on Hoblitt Lane, outside of Florence, Montana.  Greg's ashes were spread at that time.  There was a nice turn out of Greg's co-workers, friends, his boys' friends, neighbors and community members.

In lieu of flowers, the boys have a College Fund that will accept donations in remembrance of Greg through any Farmers State Bank, account #8200240.

The Whitesitt Funeral Home in Stevensville was in charge of cremation arrangements. to send condolences.

greg's open house is sat.march 6th from 3-7pm they are going to spred his ashes at this time. 3 miles south from the light in florence right on larry cr. rd. left on hobblit rd. 2nd house on right.
