Bev Esterbrook (Chip Dock) - Class of 1999 VIEW PROFILE

FRENCHTOWN - Beverly A. "Bevie" Esterbrook, 68, of Frenchtown, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2004, at Community Medical Center after an extended illness.

Mom was the only child born to Lois and Gay Anderson on May 18, 1936. Mom grew up in the Milltown and Bonner area. She attended Bonner Grade School and later graduated from Missoula County High School in 1954.

Mom was later married to Leonard Winings in 1954. Leonard and Mom lived in the Bonner area and had one child, Gary Winings. Leonard died in an automobile accident.

Mom married Arthur "Bumps" Bush in 1956. Mom and Bumps lived in Bonner and had five children, Larry, Jay, Mike, Diane and Billie. After many years of marriage they were later divorced.

In 1970, Mom married Homer Esterbrook. Mom and Homer lived in Missoula, Frenchtown and Alberton over the years and had three children, Edwin, Rusty and Rocky. The couple lost their first child at birth. Mom and Homer were married for 34 years.

Mom spent her years working and raising children. Mom spent many years in the food industry with employment from Tabers, Executive Inn, Crossroads and various other similar adventures. Mom worked several years at Vann Evans until its closure, at which time she gave a few years to School District No. 1 food program. While employed with District No. 1, the call came for mom to move on to Stone Container. Mom's many years at Stone Container were some of her best years and she cherished fond memories with co-workers on the pile and in the dozer until her retirement in 1999.

Mom enjoyed her flowers, gardening, cooking and baking for family and co-workers at Stone Container, watching Westerns with John Wayne, knitting and sewing.

Survivors include her husband Homer and two adopted grandchildren, Eddy and Mariah of the family home in Frenchtown; seven children, Gary Winings of Kentucky, Larry Bush of Seeley Lake, Jay Bush of Olympia, Washington, Mike Bush and wife Jody of Potomac, Billie Warner and husband Marc of Frenchtown, Rusty Esterbrook and wife Amber of Shelby and Rocky King and husband Martin of Frenchtown; 17 grandchildren, Amie, Rashell, Cole, Kyleena, Frank, Jayme, Josh, Cami, Crystal, John Joseph, Eddy, Mariah, Elijah, Samantha, Roxanne, Russell Jr. and Roclyn; and four great-grandchildren.

Mom was preceded in death by her father Gay Anderson, son Edwin Esterbrook, mother Lois Graham, daughter Diane Bush and numerous aunts and uncles.

A memorial service was held at 3:00PM Monday, October 11, 2004 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. A reception followed in the funeral home's community room.
