Kenny Neu (Maintenance) - Class of 1990

Kenneth Louis Neu

Kenneth Louis Neu was born January 23, 1935 to George and Henrietta (Wiedmeyer) Neu in Wisconsin.  Kenny married Sylvia Cody.  Kenny served in the U.S. Armed Forces but we have no details of the branch of service.

Sylvia and Kenny were living close to Cedar Creek in Superior, Montana when Kenny passed in January 19, 1987.   Kenny worked` as a millwright for Stone Container Corp. at their linerboard mill in Frenchtown.  It was while working that he was fataly injured.  Kenny is missed by his family and co-workers.  We are unsure whether Sylvia and Kenny had children.  If you have an obituary for Kenny, please share it with us.

Rest in peace dear friend.

Ken's death at the mill was caused when of a large tree branch they had picked with a crane, was lain on the ground.  When the branch broke, the laying tree rotated rapidly, and Ken was struck by another large branch.  I was at work that day, and was told this by Dick Grimes, who was operating the crane.  I had worked as a student in Building Maintenance, and knew them both well.  It was a sad and shocking day!
