Tucson, AZ - Robert A. Dame, 62, formerly of Missoula, was born in Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada on July 13, 1948, and passed on Monday, April 11, 2011, in Tucson, Ariz., from pancreatic cancer.

Bob's positive attitude and generosity will be remembered by many.

He is survived by his wife, Charmaine Piane Dame; daughters, Nicole Brixey (Bill), Marlo Smith (Jason) and Moria Ellingson (Rick); sons, Dustin Dame and Gabe Nottingham (Clair); and four grandchildren; his father, Adelord Dame; and sister, Marci Healey (Phil).

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lilas Dame; and granddaughter, Stacey Ellingson.

His family immigrated to Montana in 1955. Bob was the Data Processing & Accounting Supervisor when he left the mill in the early 1980's.  In 1991 he married his wife, Charmaine and they moved to Tucson in 1999. He worked eight years as Superintendent of Operations at Southwest Energy Solutions and in 2009 opened Energy Resource Group with Charmaine.  Bob earned a degree in Business Management from the University of Montana and was a member of the Arizona Small Business Association and the US Green Building Council.  He also was a partner with DLM Associates.

A Vigil was held in Tucson, Arizona on Friday, April 15 at St. Thomas More Newman Center. The Memorial Mass of Resurrection was April 16 at the Newman Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Newman Center. Cremation arrangements by Abbey Funeral Home.
