Jerry Hall (Shift Mechanic)

POLSON – Gerald Kenneth “Jerry” Hall went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, due to natural causes.

Jerry was born on October 29, 1931, in Circle to Theodore and Katherine Hall and was the oldest of three boys.

Jerry grew up in Pablo and attended school in Pablo and Polson.  He enlisted in the United States Navy on April 19, 1950.  During his time in the Navy he served in the Korean War.  Jerry was honorably discharged in 1953.

Jerry had a very successful career as a carpenter and was proud to say he built many homes in the Missoula area.  Jerry worked as a Shift Mechanic at the Frenchtown Mill for several years.

Jerry was married in 1955, and from that marriage came four children, Kaylee, Steven, Scott and Lorilee.  That marriage later ended in divorce.

Jerry married JoAnn Olson of Pablo on January 24, 2003.  Jerry and JoAnn resided in Missoula until moving to Polson in the fall of 2012.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.  He is survived by his wife JoAnn; his children Kaylee (Tim) Lobdell, Steven (Deb) Hall, Scott (Jennifer) Hall and Lorilee (Dylan) Sweeney; grandchildren, Shannon, Quinn, Kyle, Lindsey and Max; his brothers Richard (Nancy) and Donald (Paulette); three stepchildren and many step grandchildren.

There will be viewing at Shrider-Thompson Funeral Home in Ronan on Monday, August 25 from 1-5 p.m.  Graveside services will be held at the Ronan Cemetery on Tuesday, August 26 at 11 a.m. There will be a luncheon after the services at the Polson Alliance Church.
